After 11 years across Thailand, here's my honest review 🇹🇭 📍 Krabi: 9/10 The island hopping is absolutely unreal — Railay Beach will stop you in your tracks and Ao Nang is perfect for exploring. Just be ready for the crowds around January and February 🌊 📍 Koh Kood: 8.5/10 A proper hidden gem. Barely any tourists, just locals living their best life. Food options are limited so eat local or at your hotel — the beaches are pristine, white sand and the clearest water I've seen in Thailand 🏝️ 📍 Koh Mak: 8/10 Tiny, laid-back and beautifully local. Rent a bike and you'll see everything in a day or two. Kayak over to Koh Kham for serious Maldives vibes, and come straight from Koh Kood to keep that slow island energy alive — the boat is cheap and quick ⛵ 📍 Koh Chang: 7/10 Underrated but can feel a bit chaotic depending on where you stay. Great mix of beaches, hikes and waterfalls. White Sand Beach is touristy but head south for quieter vibes and beautiful sunsets 🌅 📍 Chiang Mai: 8/10 The café scene is next level, plus massive waterfalls, temples and night markets all in one city. Take a cooking class, spend time with elephants and eat Khao Soi for 1€ — hard to beat 🍜 📍 Chiang Rai: 7/10 Smaller, quieter and way more artsy. The White Temple is unlike anything I've ever seen and the Blue Temple hits just as hard. Need to go outside the city to visit nice mountain villages, sunrise viewpoints and rice terraces. 📍 Koh Tao: 8/10 A proper diver's paradise. Incredible underwater world, chill beach days and some decent party vibes but not as crazy as Samui or Phangan. Don't miss Shark Bay 🤿 📍 Khao Sok: 10/10 Nothing prepares you for this place. Floating bungalows on a lake that looks prehistoric, morning jungle hikes, boat safaris, elephant sanctuary and a night safari, it genuinely felt like another planet 🤯 Planning Thailand in 2026?
