Good morning, my dear beloved brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus. This is Pastor Bill from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Today's meditation is on First Corinthians Chapter 6:1. Dare any of you, having a complaint against another, go to law before the unrighteous, and not before the saints?
2. Or do you not know that the saints will judge the world? And if the world is to be judged by you, are you unworthy to judge the smallest matters?
3. Do you not know that we will judge angels? How much more the things of this life?
4. Therefore, if you have disputes about such matters, do you appoint as judges those who are of least account in the church?
5. I say this to your shame. Is it possible that there is not a wise person among you who can settle a dispute between brothers?
6. But one brother goes to law against another brother, and this before unbelievers?
7. In fact, it is already a complete defeat for you that you have lawsuits against one another. Why not rather suffer injustice? Why not rather suffer fraud?
8. But you yourselves commit injustice and defraud; and this to brothers.
9. Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality,
10. nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.
11. And such were some of you; but you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God.
12. All things are lawful for me, but not all things are helpful. All things are lawful for me, but I will not be mastered by anything.
13. Food is for the stomach and the stomach for food, but God will destroy both. The body, however, is not meant for sexual immorality but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body.
14. God raised the Lord from the dead, and he will raise us also by his power.
15. Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ himself? Shall I then take the members of Christ and unite them with a prostitute? Never!
16. Or do you not know that he who unites himself with a prostitute becomes one body with her
